A welcoming home in the city centre.
The project's approach was to preserve the noble area of the house with privileged views towards the Parterre and historic ficus trees.
The search for a perfect balance between materials that bring character, such as rough concrete pillars or veined porcelain, and materials that provide texture and warmth, such as wood and the feel of carpet. Materials that coexist in complete harmony, creating a warm and sober atmosphere at the same time.
The element that unites the materials is the chromatic palette ranging from beige to black that runs through and structures the space. Indirect lighting, carefully crafted in this project, highlights the textures of the materials, creating settings for daily life.
The most public area of the house focuses on views of the city. The living room, dining room, and study are connected to an open kitchen that can be concealed with sliding wooden panels.
The hallway leading to the bedrooms is the turning point between day and night. Here, there is a change in lighting and acoustics, and warm-toned metal pillars mark the verticality of the concrete structure, breaking the length of the hallway.
