Located in the historic centre of Valencia, in a privileged setting, this former law office has been transformed into a residence with its own unique and intimate character.
From its balcony, one can enjoy an impressive view of the bell tower and dome of the Church of San Juan de la Cruz. On the opposite wing of the residence, the principal suite, with its large windows, offers an exceptional view of Plaza del Patriarca and its emblematic museum—an old 16th-century seminary—situated next to its historic library.
Reinterpretation of Space

An exercise in spatial redistribution and redefinition has been carried out. The former meeting room has been converted into a spacious kitchen, enclosed by glass partitions that visually connect it to the living room, creating a continuous space and enhancing the sense of openness.
The kitchen is arranged around a fully equipped island, which also functions as a breakfast bar. The walls and worktop are clad in textured natural limestone, the same material used for the island, which seamlessly integrates with the oak wood cabinetry and a black granite solution. This combination visually extends the space while preserving the original character of the residence, achieving a perfect balance between materials and design.
With a total area of 203m², the residence is structured around a refined entrance hall, from which the daytime area—comprising the kitchen and living room—is accessed. On the opposite side, the mirrored corridor serves as a guiding axis, linking the principal suite with the guest bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom.
The bedrooms evoke a sense of calm and comfort, thanks to the warmth of the carpeted flooring and carefully selected finishes that enhance their intimate character.
A contemporary proposal that preserves the classical and elegant essence of its historic surroundings.
